what we do...

Our Mission Statement

NoCoatOn Halfasixpence

  • To promote interest in the Sphynx cat and to provide a focal point and guidance for all people who share an interest in the breed.
     

  • To encourage the care, protection and maintenance of healthy breed lines of Sphynx cats.
     

  • To encourage the free and meaningful exchange of knowledge among breeders, exhibitors, fanciers and pet owners.
     

  • In the event of being granted full affiliation, to propose to the  GCCF, in conjunction with other Sphynx clubs through the appropriate Joint Committee, such changes to the Breed Standard and Registration Policy as may be deemed necessary from time to time. 
     

  • To work with the appropriate Joint Committee in the selection and promotion of Judges and encouragement of entrants to the stewarding scheme.
     

  • To work for the welfare of all cats.

What We Offer:

We are always available to anyone needing further information or advice about the Sphynx breed. 

The Club comprises many long standing and experienced breeders, who are always happy to share their knowledge.  If you would like to show your Sphynx, but have never done so before, several of our members are regular exhibitors, with the GCCF, TICA and FIFe, and have indicated a willingness to assist new exhibitors.

We also offer a Sphynx Welfare and Rehome Service, all over the UK.  Although Rehomes are few and far between, sometimes, for various reasons, older Sphynx need a new home, and the Sphynx Cat Association is happy to help, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
